Same Wedding, Different Year!
Well folks, social distancing is just no way to celebrate true love. We have always dreamed that our wedding would be fun, safe, and in accordance with the recommendations of the CDC, and for that reason, we've been forced to postpone. As it turns out, our first postponement to last October was still a little too Covid-y to bring all of us together in one place, and so we were forced to delay yet again.
Thus we invite you to share in our love (and not our germs) for a wedding celebration next spring on Saturday, May 1, 2021, still in beautiful New Braunfels, Texas.

We hope this website will continue to serve as a way to share everything you need to know for the weekend (e.g., where you'll need to be and when) and a bit about us.

Thank you all for your ongoing love and support. We look forward to (finally) dancing the night away with all of our favorite people!
OUR STORY
Our story started in Boston in 2013, soon after we both moved there following undergrad. Although Tom's 5-guy apartment (a.k.a. The Roadhouse) was often a mess, it was always full of different people.

Eventually, fate led us to cross paths, and Tom was smart enough to ask Alana on a date. Though that first date probably could have gone smoother (what are the chances of running into an ex on first date?), both of us knew there was something there. And before long, it had grown into crazy, unabashed love.
​
After Alana left Boston for law school, it wasn't long before Tom found a way to follow her to Virginia for his own post-grad degree. After graduation, we decided to move together to D.C.
There, on a crisp October day as he feigned preparations for a pumpkin carving party, Tom surprised Alana with a ring and a proposal. Although it's hard to be sure through all of the mutual tears and blubbering, we assume she said "Yes."
Thus we started on the path towards spending the rest of our lives together, and we can't wait to have you join us as we begin the next chapter of that journey!

GETTING THERE
DRIVING
There is plenty of parking at the venue for those who will be driving. Additionally, ride-share services (e.g., Uber) are available and will be informed of the event to ensure availability.
FLIGHTS
New Braunfels is located in Central Texas between the cities of San Antonio and Austin. It is around 50 miles from either the San Antonio or Austin airport, so those flying in can choose whichever is most convenient.
ACCOMMODATIONS
For guests that will be spending the night in New Braunfels, there are a number of different options of where to stay.
We have secured a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott located 7 miles from the wedding venue and location of the Welcome BBQ.
And the Homewood Suites located 5 miles from the venue with a special rate if you mention our wedding.

For those looking for a more "authentic" Texas experience, we also recommend booking a hotel or Airbnb in the New Braunfels' historic Greune district (pronounced "Green").
